My Dad fought in World War 2 and today I remember him and the other men and women who have fought so bravely to defend our country around the world.
"On the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month, Canadians are asked to pause and remember the thousands of men and women who sacrificed their lives fighting for freedom and democracy during the First World War, the Second World War, the Korean War, the Afghanistan conflict and during peacekeeping missions."
My buddy Dave White sent me this great video, Lest we Forget.

Hey Howard,
that was an amazing tribute. The wonderful song & the accompanying video puts it all into today's perspective. It was special to think of my grandparents long gone & my Dad who while training to be a gunner in WWII blew an ear-drum. I was lucky to be born & have him til 4 yrs ago. Now my children have peers going to Iraq. Lest we forget!!
