What the? How the hell did this happen? I mean is this not incredible after all these years of waiting for someone/anyone from Quebec to get a chance to lead the Liberal Party it's finally occurred.
I'm flabbergasted. I was, like all Canadians, expecting another English-speaking Westerner to be elected, but oh my the unexpected just upped and happened.
I never thought I'd see this in my lifetime. How is a Quebecois dude going to front the Liberals?
They won't be used to this after all those years of Western style leadership. I just hope he's ready for all the backlash he'll receive from inside and outside Quebec not to mention the awkward pronunciation of his name. Dion? Dionne! Dee-yawn.
What if he became Prime Minister? Did you ever think we'd have a Prime Minister with a French-sounding name?
