In my House December 11

In my house today I'm going to be sitting through one of those kids Xmas things at school. I know, I know they don't call them Xmas shows anymore. They're called Holiday Shows. I think that's weak. As a Jew-Dude I could care less if you call it Xmas or Jesus-Mass or whatever, just have some fun, sing about the reindeer and lets move on.
People have gotten way too politically correct with this stuff the past few years. I've actually had people wish me a Merry Christmas and then stop themselves.
"Oohh sorry, I forgot, you don't celebrate Christmas,pardon me!"
Like I'm going to throw a fit and get all offended. Maybe if they said Merry Christmas you Jewey non-believer, slayer of our Lord!
That might be a bit annoying.

Also in my house today, I have a doctors appointment for the first time in a long time. I need to have a physical soon but todays visit is about sleep. I need to get some help cause the sleep thing isn't working. Maybe he can help. I fall asleep all right, i just can't stay asleep. Maybe he'll subscribe some sort of lullaby series I could listen to.

Finally in my house we're debating about a tree again this year. I want one, kids do too but Mrs Humble is saying its a no go. Last year was the first time since we'd met that we didn't have one and it was a bit of a drag. Easier cleaning up though.
Yes we're Jews, but we love Santa coming down the chimney. Who wouldn't.
Even without a tree last year we still hung our stockings with care and put out cookies and milk and carrots.
If I had to bet I'd say no tree again this year. Mrs Humble has a lot of power when it comes to these things, but maybe we can decorate a plant or something and put our presents around that.
