In my house it's Hanukkah.

It's The Festival of Lights, where the kids light a candle every day for 8 days...or at least the nights we remember. Last night we forgot, it happens. It wasn't until Night 3 that we remembered to give them a present.
We do both, the Hanukkah and The Xmas or Santa-Mass. Cause that's how we roll in Oakville's G-unit.
In my house this morning my 8-soon to be 9 year-old is starting to question the existence of Santa Claus. Why look, here he is now.

She was asking me this morning on the way to school if Santa was real. I of course do the parent thing and ask her what she thinks. She say, maybe, maybe not but would I tell her for certain if it turns out he's not.
I say no.
She then asks me if it's in "The Parents Handbook" to keep the whole thing a secret.
She's a lot like her mother, she's funny without meaning to be.
We leave it alone for now but I can tell she's struggling to hang on. This will definitely be the last year.
Finally in my house we had our dog "Tucker's" hair cut. He's a strange looking little dude to begin with but now he looks positively bizarre. His head looks like its been shrunken. Poor little guy.

Here's a shot of him with one of his "Girlfriends" He spends a good portion of his day either licking his little private area or humping this slipper like a maniac.
Sorry bout the red-eye.
