My New Years revisited.

I mentioned in an earlier post that I had a great time New Years Eve. I always do because for over 10 years we've had our friends at our house. And kids. Lot's and Lots. The youngest was 3 the oldest 13 and all sorts in between. It is a night of too much drinking, too much eating and just the right amount of being festive.

This year I did something different. I was in charge of the seating arrangement for the grown ups at our grown up dining room table. We had to re-arrange some things and throw in an extra table to accommodate all 11 of us. I tried but I just couldn't make it work. I wanted to sit near my buddies Stinky, Fraser and Lou and the mental math to put the right boy/girl combination together was starting to be more trouble than it was worth until......Genius! I would just put all the boys at our own table.Kind of a grown up kids table.

We were connected to the chicks table and we could banter with them at will but still do what guys end up doing anyway, which is mainly to shoot the bull with each other.
So that's what we did and it was awesome. I asked the men before we sat down and it was a unanimous Yes!

The women liked it too believe me. No stupid fart jokes and inane sports analogies and talk of Bush this(The President) and Bush that(the other kind) and all the other crap we spew at each other whenever we're together.
Later my neighbor Vince came over and had 2 beer in 15 seconds and then left.
