One of the guys from the old show Carmen Melville sent me a bunch of old "Him" recently. I always loved this character and I'm happy he did. The Fake English Accent Movie Reviewer.
Carmen is an extremely talented writer and voice-over guy which of course explains why he's no longer in Radio.
Interesting Carmen Trivia?
He was part of the Dean Blundell Show on the Edge when it first debuted in the spring of 2001.
He came in a few times and things didn't work out. Not everyone wants to get up in the middle of the night and go to work. Okay no one really does but sometimes that's all your qualified for.
Anyway. Here's some more Carmen.
Enjoy.

I think you guys do a good job on the podcasts! You touched on the fact in one of your earlier casts that fm stations in canada haven't quite caught on that we would like a morning show based on chat rather than the same ole music over and over. You guys are sort of re-inventing yourselves, with some splashes of comment on the goings on in the real world. What mornings need is a "variety show" of the spoken word!
It will take a risk taking PD to venture forth. FM stations in this market seem hell bent on playing alot of music - or is it restrictions bythe crtc??
