Craig Venns's a Good Boy

One of my pals Craig Venn checked in with me recently. I first met him working in Brampton at the old chicken factory. Ah those were the days. Working in a strip mall across from St. Hubert's and the smell of bad take-out and dead chicken carcasses.
Craigy was just a lad then. This was before working with the Dark Lord. He was just a good guy with a great sense of humour.

He is hosting the morning show in Windsor these days at The Rock.
He mentioned he is settling in with his family and he loves the proximity to Detroit.

"It is great being 15 minutes from the border, Red Wings, Tigers, decent restaurants and for Maria, amazing shopping. I can not believe that you can go to a Red Wings game and get a decent seat for 40 dollars. I went with a bunch of listeners to a Red Wings/Oilers game and we had a dinner in the Champions lounge. I could not understand the photos they had on the wall of Red Wings players celebrating with something they call the Stanley Cup. Scotty Bowman was lying on the ice with all the players around him and I thought he had a stroke; turns out they were just posing for the photo. Seems, that’s what you do when you win this thing called “The Cup.” Being a Leafs fan for so long I did not understand."
