I don't know what to say. These things happen with numbing frequency. It's one of the saddest, unexplainable, remarkable phenomenons of the past 40 years.
That's right, this started in 1966 with a shooting on campus in Texas and unfortunately ended for 32 students yesterday at Virginia Tech.
Of course the shooter killed himself. I guess that's what these people want. They want to kill themselves and inflict pain and suffering on others on the way out.
Cowards.
Too bad he didn't have the courage to just end his own life and leave others to live theirs.
I really don't know what to say. Who does?

I agree. He's a coward. Only a coward commits suicide after committing such a horrible act. He can't stand up and take the punishment for what he did. My heart goes out to all those affected by this (which really should be everyone). If you have children in school (like I do) it seems like they aren't safe anymore.

Yet another school incident that hit way to close to home, someone needs to make this stop. My very good friend's brother attends VA Tech. I happened to be out all day and did not have access to the radio or TV, so when I got home I flipped on the TV and an immediate overwhelming fear/panic set-in. Very fortunately I was able to reach her and he is fine! He happened not to be in class yesterday by the miracle of chance.

I can't begin to imagine how someone could become so violent. I have to wonder about the American right to bear arms. Firearms are not allowed in the schools. Do they need to have an airport security system everywhere? My feelings are the same as yours .. Take your own life if you must but leave the rest of the world alone.
