Well some great stuff is happening.
I've been involved with LKTYP for past few years and I love that organization.
Next month I'm the Provincial Chair for the Canadian Hearing Societies "Deaf for a Day" campaign, which is going to be amazing.
Now I've been elected to the Board of Directors of the Canadian International Air Show.
(It's a good thing I don't have a job!)

The CIAS is something I've been interested in for a while. One of my best pals DW is a big part of it and I decided that it's something I'd like to be involved in.
The work in this group is done mainly by volunteers and committee heads. Which is a good thing since I know almost nothing about the show except it involves a lot of cool airplanes.
I'll be updating you about the event as it gets closer but I thought I'd give you the heads up on my latest venture now.
The Board was voted in last night and besides me (Unemployed DJ-comic) the other new members included an ATC guy from Pearson (cool) and a former freakin SnowBird (way cool)
That's right I'm going to be hanging with a guy that used to be in the SnowBirds. Okay I'm in.
This is going to be a great experience and one I hope to be able to contribute to somehow. At the very least I'll just try and stay out of the way and look at the neat airplanes.
Go here for CIAS info.

Cool news on the airshow.
I was thinking of you on Sunday morning, while I stood on my deck and watched a guy practice aerobatics out over lake ontario. very cool.

Friggin coolio! I LOVE the Airshow! Lots of family memories down at the lake, on the roof of the house (we're on one of the approaches) and working at Ontario Place. Jealous!!
