KJ Choi can flat out play. He won the Memorial,(Jacks Tourney) and now he's won The AT+T(Tiger's Tourney). The dude has got some mean game, and he looks like he could give you a good ass-whooping too if you made him mad.
I watched some of this unfold yesterday with my Brother Steve.(You know the one who's sworn to never hiring me!)
It was a pretty good afternoon of Golf considering that Tiger was sucking (finished T6) and a guy most of you don't know, (KJ) was leading. (BTW. Note to CBS, never let KJ talk for that long again, it was painful.)
I dug it cause Weirsy was starting to play well again. Swing changes and shite putting have kept him from contending for a few years but yesterday you could see that spark again.
I've been told from some people who know him that he is hitting it awesome and is ready to win again. You could see it yesterday. Even though he pooped the bed coming in and went from a lock T3 to a crappy T8, it's the highest finish he's had this year. Good on him cause he's about the nicest guy you'd ever want to meet.
Also this good play of late makes it even easier for Gary Player to make him a Captains-pick for the International squad at this Falls President's Cup being played in Montreal.
Actually Mike would have to have broken at least one or two limbs for Gary not to pick him, but it's nice that he's starting to play better.
KJ Choi will be on his team as well and if the Americans aren't careful they'll be in for another ass-kick like they got at The Ryder Cup.
