Some Random stuff for a Friday.

My 9 year old has started calling me Howard.
"Howard," She'll say, "Can we go to Nancy Drew today?"
"Howard, can you teach me an E chord on the guitar?"

"Spencer stop calling me Howard."
"Okay Howard."
And so it goes. She and I are going to see Nancy Drew today and then tonight I'm going to take in Die Hard 4.

Speaking of movies Ben Kingsly, one of my favorite actor types, is staring in a new flick called You Kill Me.
It's about a mob hit man that has to go into rehab so that he can get back into the business of killing people. Supposed to be very funny.

Hmmm, maybe I'll see this before Die Hard or instead of Nancy Drew.
"Howard, what's a Hit Man?"

I'm also taking Charlie and her pals to a mall. That's what I do. I drive girls to place and then give them money. I've said this before, at this stage of parent-hood I'm like a mobile ATM machine.
Drive, stop, dispense money.

The end of the innocence.
Last night I came home and Charlie had lost her last baby tooth.
I said can we skip the Tooth Fairy thing and I'll just give you ten bucks.
She looked at me with those sweet brown eyes and for a moment I thought she was crushed that we were no longer going to put the money under her pillow in place of her tooth.
Then I realized that it was the "Only Ten Bucks" look.
