Long weekend and then what.

Usually at this time of year I'd be all gung-ho to get the Fall book started. For you non-radio types, the Fall BBM period begins Tuesday and goes for a couple of months. It's the most important ratings survey of the year as a good portion of advertising dough is up for grabs and a lot of it is based on the numbers that come out of this survey.
This year I won't be part of it again.
Last year I was still shell-shocked from being canned but this year I'm actually a bit sad/jealous/nostalgic to be on the sidelines.

I'm asked all the time of I miss being on the Radio and most of the time I don't. I miss being part of a creative team working on things that will hopefully increase the ratings. Or at the very least, amuse ourselves.
