I know the PGA Tour is trying. They really are. It's just i don't think the whole Fed EX Cup thing is causing the buzz they had hoped for.
I'm not hearing a lot of "Wow, Stricker's in first place?"
The only thing people were talking about last week is why wasn't Tiger playing. (Cause mathematically he didn't have to. Oops.)
I don't know anyone that even remotely understands the thing entirely and the only thing my friends are asking me is can I explain it.

I summed it up the best I could here so if your curious have a look.
For me the best thing is that El Tigre will most likely play the next three weeks in a row and will probably win once, finish second, finish top 5 and win the Fed Ex Cup despite not giving a crap about it.
The tour will likely tweak the format for next year,Fed Ex will throw in a gazillion more dollars
and Tiger will most likely win it again.
