I posted something about Jerry Seinfeld earlier and it got me thinking about his stand-up.
I always loved his act and was aware of him when I lived in LA, long before he became the guy from the TV show.
So I found this cool bit. Jerry's first time on the Tonight show with Johnny Carson. Watch how Johnny gives him the A-OK sign at the end.
Now fast forward to Jerry on the show talking about the premier of "The Seinfeld Chronicles!"
(The original name for the program.)
Then I start thinking about Letterman's first time on the show. Letterman loved and idolized Carson and I thought it must have been the coolest thing for him to finally make it to the show.
After that I found Lettermans' first night hosting his first show.
Finally Carson shows up on the CBS show after he had retired to thrill Dave.
So this should answer the question: How do you spend your days?
