People let's just remain calm. It's only a few flurries.
This is how my day started.
"Daddy the buses have been canceled can I stay home, everyone else is..."
After that my wife and I played a game of "who does the dog love more" and then it was time
to rise.
As for my oldest Daughter the weather caused her quite the conundrum.
It was back and forth, touch and go. She was staying home, we'd make her read and clean up and then she could go visit her friends. Then all of a sudden, her friends were going to school and then so was she and I was the "bus driver!"
That's okay, that's the type of thing I get to do now that I have no regular gig.
I don't know why we freak out so much about a little snow. We're Canadians. There was a time we walked hundreds of miles in snow, we trapped Beavers and ate them raw. Now a little precipitation and we turn into a city of suck-holes.
Yesterday it took me and hour and 40 minutes to get to work because it rained.
Why? It wasn't raining Fire! Giant spears of fire weren't pounding down on our roofs were they?
No but a few hours of rain and all of us from Burlington to the DVP just crawl along wondering why it's going so slow.
"Hey dude in the rain beside me. Your entire hand is up your nose...have you lost your cell-phone or what? Yes I can see you, we're only going NO miles per hour. Now quite it you're making me ill."
