I don't want to dump on the Maple Leafs again but it's just too pathetic to ignore.
No matter what the team has done the fans continue to follow. Leaf Nation wouldn't know what to do if the squad was any good. I swear the fans say they want a better team but I think they secretly enjoy squawking about how bad the Leafs suck.
I admire the fact that this team gets support no matter who's on the ice,
as long as they are wearing the blue and white.

"Dressing for Toronto tonight, 3 giant turds, a Beaver carcass and an old bucket!"

Andy:(Fake big-voiced Arse.) I thought the Beaver carcass looked dead out there tonight.
Gino: (From Woodbridge-calls every night.) Yah Andy the carcass isn't playing the kind of defense the Leafs are paying him for.
Andy:(FBVA) I agree with you agreeing with me. I did think one of the turds and the old bucket played a decent third period.

Now the big story is how Richard Peddie made a mistake by hiring John Ferguson Jr. and blah blah blah..fire the Coach...blah blah, Blake has the kind of Cancer that allows him to play but not score goals.
It's the Leafs. How else can you explain it. It's the franchise that was built on an Indian burial ground or something.
It is great at one thing though, giving their fans a constant source of grief and the all important "Something to Bitch and Whine about" all the time.
That's worth the annual ticket price increase alone.
