Team Kelly Green has a nice team, well-coached and led by my pal Geoffs' kid Brooke(3 or 4 goals) but Team Gold was just too much.
(All right what was the freaking score already?)
14-8 or 9.
That's right 14 for us and somewhat less for Team Kelly G. I must be honest I lost track our girls were scoring so much.
Coach Marc's girl Gabby Gabby Hey popped in 7 goals. That's a lot. Rhianna had 3 and single blasts came from Rachel, Carly, Taylor and Lauren.
Only 3 more games left and who knows, a made for TV movie or at least a book.
Game Notes:
Coach Howard's daughter Charlie G has yet to pop in a dinger after having a dream goal-scoring season last winter indoors. She did however have 19 assists last night and 67 shots on net.
If we go loss-less in the next 3 games I'd like to retire from coaching. Unfortunately due to some bureaucratic bumbling (I forgot to sign her up) I'll be coaching Charlie's team again in the new year. Truth be told it has become one of my favorite things to do as a Dad.
