Team Gold Week 7. No Losses smells like Victory.

Definition: A tie. Not a loss. Not losing. Not having lost. A continuation of a winning streak. Not unlike a win in it's not losing-dom.

Team Gold was in tough this week against the superbly coached Team Red and once again came away with out losing the game. The second tie of the season the second against TR.
Wow what a game.
Gold was up early and dominated. 5-2 at the half and then the Big Red Machine came back.
5-5 then up 7-5.
Team Gold showed it's heart by storming back and tie-ing the score with seconds to play.
Coaches Rob and Ed were once again denied. Yes they are superior skippers but they have been schooled on the art of trying to beat a dynasty. Nice try fellers.

Gold was led once again by the Amazing Gabster with 3, sweet Taylor with 3 and Hillary H nabbed a singleton. Charlie G the Coaches kid picked up several assists and had 1357 chances despite being harassed continually by the immature and juvenile coach Ed.

Game notes:
Coach Marc wasn't there but he was ably replaced by his wife Coach Julie Ann G. She is very enthusiastic and yelled "Use the boards" quite nicely.

One of my girls got hit in the stomach with the ball and had the wind knocked out of her.
I ran on to the field and yelled to the parents, "Don't worry I'm no a Doctor but I have watched many episodes of medical programming"
They didn't think it was funny but my player did and I knew she'd be okay.
I then offered to fireman-carry her to the bench but she just giggled and said no.
