Grown up work.

I've been working a lot for a couple of different clients lately and it's exciting, challenging and way different than my old job.
My old job didn't require me to talk "Corp-Speak."
I'm sure some of you other grown-ups know what I mean.
I "care-take" the "stake-holders" and make sure the client knows I'm "mindful" of the various points along the "critical-path" all the while keeping the "C-suite" apprised of our progress on the project which will conclude with a big "win-win" for all concerned.
Geez Loo-eez.
In my old job I just had to wake up in the middle of the night and tell a few fart jokes.

This is an excerpt from an e-mail I just wrote.
"....Thanks for the help, I appreciate it.
I spoke with our client and she's up to speed on the proposed schedule.
She is available Wednesday which will give us plenty of time
to get the stuff ready to fine tune."

Holy crap..."up to speed" and "fine tune" were never part of my communication before, unless it was let's get those fart jokes up to speed and fine tune our stupid noises!
