Not Really Breaking news.....

Okay I'm back watching American Idol.
I watched both episodes this week, that's 4 solid hours of fine family viewing.

Sure it's the same thing all over again.
Randy's my Dawg, Paula's a twit and Simon's the man, but I dig the show and I like
the fact that for the first time in recent memory, all four members of my family watched a show
together.
With our group that's a rarity these days.
My 13 year old barely watches TV, what with homework, MSN, her cell phone, downloading songs and listening to her Ipod.
My 9 year old usually watches endless episodes of Hanna Montana and walks around the house singing.
But for the last 2 nights American Idol had us all sitting together on the couch just like a family would back in the old days.
You remember the old days? I think we all smoked inside and ate a lot more cheese.
