I came, I saw, I shredded.

Early in January I wrote about my adventures learning to ride a snowboard.
Quite painful and at times I wasn't sure I wanted to persevere.
Well I did and it was worth it.
In the last three months I've boarded 10 times and I can't believe:
A)How much fun it is.
B)How much more fun it is than skiing.
Sorry skiers. It is.
Also I've gotten pretty good. Considering how much I sucked to begin with.

This past weekend Charlie and I went to Blue Mountain with MG(buddy and former Team Gold soccer coach) and his kids and we had a blast.(Make sure to order the Litre of beer at Skool!)
I also bought my first new board. Well almost new, but mine. A Burton Baron.
Burton is the big name in Snow Boarding and mine is cool.
Blue was having an end of season sale and I got if for half.burtonbaron

The freedom, the connection to the hill, the thrill. Way different than on ski's and I can't get enough. Usually at this time I year I'd be all itching to play golf but for the next few weeks I'm going to find any snow I can and go.
Dang these short Canadian Winters!
