Yes I know.
"Tiger Woods is easy to support cause he always wins!"
So what.
Leaf Fans cheer for their team and they haven't won anything since Sgt.Pepper was a new release.
As many of you know I have a man-crush on Tiger and believe him to be Golf-Jesus.
It's always been a cool ride watching history in the making as Tiger knocks down record after record and basically just competes against himself, but lately it's been amazing even by Tiger-Fan status.
He just seems to be bent on winning every tournament he plays in. The last time he didn't win was a crap second place finish to Phyliss Mickel-boobs back around labor day 07.
For us Tiger-lovers it's been a bountiful time.
He's always entertaining because he's always contending. Yes the fact that he's been closing the deal is icing but it's neat that he's always around the lead. And don't tell me he's wrecking the game or is making it boring.
If the Leaf's won a bunch of games and made the playoffs and contended or won the Cup every year don't tell me you Leaf-Knobs would be bored. You wouldn't. You'd be spent from creaming yourselves to death every year.
It's about winning and when someone you admire does it a lot, believe me it doesn't get old.
(I wrote this Sunday morning before the final round of the Palmer invitational. I don't know if Tiger has won at this point but that's not the point. It's the fact that I look forward to watching him in contention that makes it fun to be a Tiger fan. Chances are he wins but I'm publishing this piece whether he does or not.)

I root for Tiger, just because I like the idea of someone from my time setting all the records, but isn't cheering for Tiger a little like rooting for the Yankees or IBM?
