Baby With 2 Faces Born in North India.

This story is a couple days old but I couldn't leave it behind.
Have you seen this? The 2-Faced Baby? Very strange but the kid is being worshiped as a re-incarnated God and it's made huge news all over that country.
Read more here.
I feel for those poor parents-how worried and concerned they must be. On the other hand they can look forward to a lifetime of topping other parents.
"Oh my little Brinder has a terrible cold!"
"Really? Does he have 2 faces? No? Then quite your whining. Geez."
"Our Pardeep has been named class monitor..."
"Really? Does Pardeep have 2 faces and is she worshiped as a re-incarnated God? Geez."

HH: I appreciate the humour but it really is a sad story.
Sad for the baby and sad that her parents would exploit her in this horrible way. Thankfully in our civilized western world the child’s welfare would be placed above the kooky religious and financial concerns of the parents. Hopefully the state will intervene – I doubt it though.

Argie apparently you haven't been to a grocery store lately if you think our "civilized" Western world would protect this child. How many pictures of Suri Cruise, Jamie Lynne Spears and The Olsen Twins do we see all the time?
You think if the National Enquirer were able to print this, that they wouldn't?
Give me a break!
As for this whole story.. can this poor chicld survive? I'm sure it will be quite complex and I really feel for the parents.. although if this child is thought to be some sort of god then who knows..
Just another sign of... who even knows anymore.

Jason: If this girl was born in North America there is no way the parents could get away with this – that’s all I’m saying. Sometimes goofy Catholics will believe they can see the virgin Mary in a burnt piece of toast. This is quite different. I thought you were smart enough to understand my point.
The exploitation of this girl is much more despicable than the tabloid subjects you noted.
