Some stuff you may have missed...

Robert Plant and Alison Krauss coming to town July 14-Molson Amphitheatre.
Until a few months ago I didn't even know these two had even done an album together but since I've been voicing some airlines Pop shows ( A really long story. I'm the voice of three music shows on Oman Air, Saudi Arabian Air Lines and Vietnam Air. I'm not kidding.)
I've discovered these kids did a little album called Raising Sand. Some amazing stuff that you might want to check out.
If you do know about it then you'll want to catch them live. Tickets on sale Friday April 18.

Steely Dan is touring again and I am going to try and buy a pair of tickets to their show.
I don't want you to buy tickets so I'm not going to tell you where they're playing or when they go on sale.
Sorry. I don't think most of you could give a flying crap about Steely Dan but just in case there are any Dan fans that read this thing, then I have to be careful.
I'll let you know if I "score" them.

Finally, I tried the National Post for 6 months and I've recently given it up. I liked the rag, (hell I've even written for it) but Randee didn't dig it and for the last 3 weeks it rarely showed up 2 days in a row. So, I'm back to the Star.
I missed the Star for a variety of reasons-I think it covers Toronto better and Vinay Menon.
Vinay is an old friend who is a wicked good writer of all things TV and pop culture.
