Day two.
The reality sets in and it's on to the next 750 or shows. A guy named Doc Harris in Vancouver once told that mornings are a marathon not a sprint and he was absolutely right. You have to show up and do solid stuff every day, day in day out and then after about 3 years or so (750 shows) you start to become the listener's habit.
I'm not saying that we won't make an impact before that-at least I hope we do. It's just that I know that a lot of the magic of mornings is being there for someone every day.
Day two of that "every day" starts Tuesday.
Day one recap.
Dang it all I was nervous. Excited as hell but pretty freaked out and then I turned on the Mic and I was fine.
So were the women. Colleen Rusholme is just a great broadcaster. Quick, smart and way underrated. Kim Stockwood is amazing. Such a neat, intelligent, funny, grounded chick and both are way too good looking to be in Radio.
I can't tell you how many of my buddies want to come down and "check out" the show.
Sure there were some problems but over all it was a great first effort and by the time you read this Day two will be well underway.
Hey ya wanna see a scary picture of me on FreddiP's site. Check this ridonkulous vision out!

Man I gotta say it is nice to know you're back behind a microphone, I like the great many other unwashed masses have been waiting.
Now I just need the trophy wife to wake me up in time to hear the show.
