My First MacBook Pro Entry...

Hello and welcome to my first entry using a Mac. My brother Stevie G got one a couple of years ago and I've been jealous ever since.
Well now I have one too.
I've had the machine now for 4 days and I love it. It's sleek and cool and easy to use. Of course I have only used it sparingly but from what I've seen so far I'm hooked. My kids are pretty Mac-friendly and have been all over this thing. They have made movies, songs, distorted pictures and have had several mini-fights about who gets daddy's laptop next.
My favorite thing they've played with so far is Garage Band.
Both of my little genius's have created decent tracks from a menu of loops and I must say they're not bad. Best of all it kept them quiet at our friends cottage and during that dreadful 3.5 hour drive home.

I used a Mac back in the 80's when I lived in LA. My roommates worked a production company and they brought home one of the original Macintosh's. Big, boxy thing but pretty cool even back then. That was the last time I touched a Mac and I've spent the last 20 plus years plugging away on a PC.
I'm not ready to jump on the Mac bandwagon hardcore just yet, but I will say so far the kool-aid tastes pretty good.
