Morning's are Madness...

I miss my kids in the morning.
For the past 2 years while I was in Radio Exile, I got to be part of the girls and momma's life in the morning.
I loved it.
Of course I had no idea of the chaos that goes on getting everyone up, cleaned, fed, homework gathered and out the door. And of course all the yelling and aggravation.
Now I know why my wife use to get pissed at me when I'd call her at home during my show.
"Honey, what can I do for you?" She'd say.
"Hey put on one of the girls, we can do a bit!"

I get it now. Those minutes between wake-up and out the door are hectic for all families and because of my time at home I now know why.
I miss it. I'm not saying I want to go back to it anytime soon, but I kinda dug it.
Maybe the next time I get fired my kids will be in university and I won't have to wake-up and drive them. Although I would if they wanted.

In my experience as a nanny/daddy - or naddy as we say at my house - getting one child out the door on time demands constant prompts to get the task completed I cant imagine the patience it takes to manage multiple units- and yes when the spouse calls to talk to her daughter - its very disruptive to the job at hand!

Humble,

OOOOH, I'm so happy to hear your voice on the radio again. (I miss FP beside you.) Myself and the daughters have been lllllooonnngggg time listeners. The mornings haven't been the same without you. Thank goodness someone in radioland woke up and smelt the Tim Horton (or other brand) coffee. Or as my husband of French background would say: "Tank @#$%ing God. Ee's back on da radio." OOops, I see him getting the flyswopper and he's banging the sreem door. Maybe he's going to clean the eaves drops. See you have motivated him to get things done. Any way Yaaaa, my boyfriends back and the "other" station is in trouble. Yea, you're my boyfriend.

Love ya,
Solange
