Some left-over junk from the Radio...

The thing about doing the Radio Show again every day is a bunch of leftover stuff that I prepped for the show but may or may not have gotten to.
So let's begin with:
Many predict top-12 finish in London's 2012 Olympic Games.
-75% of respondents are satisfied with the performance of the Canadian team in Beijing
-Albertans are most dissatisfied (19%) with the team's results
-50% say 18 medals won show Canadian sport is improving
-42% think Canada will be able to finish in top-12 in the London 2012 Olympic Games
We love these types of things in morning Radio.

Also today we did a thing we call "Three Takes" where we give our take on any particular subject...this morning it was all about Back to School. Can you imagine.
My take was:
"About a minute ago my girls were born, we cried and wondered,"How the hell we were going to figure this all out?" Well like most parents, we muddled through, they grew up nicely and then went school. Then they grew some more, one of them even grew some boobies and now that one starts grade 9. Here's the way I look at things. If she's in grade 9 that means I must be a lot older than I was when she was born and that means one day she'll be finished school and that means soon I'll be dead!"

And finally have a crack at this Morning Show Mind Teaser.
THE MORNING SHOW DOES MATH!!
Since school is starting up, we brought up this classic math brain teaser.

Three men go into a motel. The man behind the desk said the room is $30, so each man paid $10 and went to the room. A while later the man behind the desk realized the room was only $25, so he sent the bellboy to the three guys' room with $5.

On the way, the bellboy couldn't figure out how to split $5 evenly between three men, so he gave each man a $1 bill and kept the other $2 for himself.

This meant that the three men each paid $9 for the room, which is a total of $27. Add the $2 that the bellboy kept = $29.

Where is the other dollar?

The answer is on the internet...just google Motel Math Problem. The answer will surprise you.

Humble, 25+3 is 28 not 27. 28+2 is 30

It's all in the way it's worded. $30 = $30

You do prep for your shows??????
