Hey the US team didn't suck too much at the Ryder Cup and actually won for a change. In case you have no idea what I'm talking about(and trust me I'm used to that!) that last sentence referred to a big Bi-Annual golf event between a bunch of golf dudes from the USA and continental Europe. This is the first time the Americans have won this thing since 99, although I quite enjoy watching them having their butts kicked.
It's been a few weeks since hurricane Ike hit Galveston and it may not be top of mind but this picture shows just how devastated the area was.
This homeowner told his contractor to build him a house that could withstand a category 5 hurricane and I guess it turned out okay. At least for them.
And finally apparently William Shatner is a tad upset that JJ Abrams, the creator of Lost and new Star Trek director, left him out of the picture...so to speak.

Maybe this guy has more pull with the director of the new star trek movie than Shat.
