Back in the day, that day being a Wednesday(...if you're a Dane Cook Fan you'll get that DC reference. Btw saw the show Friday night and it was PFG-pretty f-in good.)...anyway Back in the day when I wrote this blog on a regular basis, one of the things I enjoyed was something called OPC or Other Peoples Content.
It was great to interact and receive material from Hhdotcom peeps and it gave me less to do so that I could get my drink on even earlier.
One of my main contributors was a dude who called himself Mike Farkas. At least I think that was his name. Could have been his cool 'internet' alias, but nevertheless he always gave me great stuff.
Recently he sent me this and I've decided to get off my lazy ass and cut and paste it here for your enjoyment.
So enjoy.

Hey Humble, I was at Dane Cook on Friday as well ( although I paid for my tickets and you probably didn't have to). I thought I was the only guy over 40 there, but it appears not.
Not only do we seem to share the exact same birthday and love for TW, but also the same need to feel young by attending and enjoying a Dane Cook show!

The Muslim Demographic is scary. Too close to Yellow Peril and other paranoid delusions that lead to really bad behavior.

Hey Paul
Yes I was given the tix, yes I love the TW, no I didn't go to DC to feel younger I went with my 14 year old daughter...which added up to some of the most uncomfortable 'daddy-daughter' moments of my parenting experience so far. I think you'll know what I mean based on Dane's material. (For the record I dug him but the juxtabposition of hearing him talking about ejaculating so much whacking off that he had to "turn his cock to the side" while looking at my first born was too distracting!)

I understand your daddy-daughter angst. My daughter is 18 but didn't attend the show - that said I have suffered through some of the same moments that you refer to while watching DC or other comedians on video with the whole family.
Father-daughter time is good. I won tickets for a concert at the ACC a while back (ok a long while back) when you were at the MIX (without our favorite friend FreddieP) and brought my daughter. It was good clean fun.

I cant wait to walk my daughter down the aisle in a mosque 20 years from now.

Argie, be sure to wear your exploding vest. I know I would if it came to that.

Actually I thought I just sent this to Fred. Anyway, I saw this as another example of paranoia, somewhat like the sentiment on his blog concerning the protests. The Muslim Demographic is scary, if your paranoid. Lou, big difference, Yellow Peril and Muslim Demographic. The Yellow Peril, racial, Muslim Demographic, religion but yes both are paranoid delusions.
Hey, I've been called a Troll by some on Fred's Blog. Not anymore! ;O]
Oh, sorry I missed your show, planned on being there for weeks. Early Saturday morning, (day of the show) had to rush my Mom to Jo Brant(pneumonia)and spent most of the day there with her. She's still there.......

"This is a call to action"?!? Make with the funnies, and leave the fear-mongering to FOX News.
