YouTubery

One of my favorite days in Mexico...

was when I got sick.
Charlie too.
For about 24 hours Charlie and I were in various stages of a "Crampy Stomach!" If you've ever been to Mexico you'll know what I mean.
Anyway the two of us were barely apart that entire time and it was great. She is way past the cuddling stage under normal circumstances, but when she's sick, she's like a baby again. (And I loved it.)
We spent a good portion of one day basically sleeping around the pool and laying in bed and watching movies. It really was a great father-daughter time, except for the frequent trips to the can.
This was shot by Charlie. It's a short video of me, all groggy and acting sort of stupid. Of course this could have been shot most any time.

Hey it's me and...

Mary Jo Eustice at the Rom.
This was on the "Featured" videos page of YouTube.
My kids found it.
It's a video I helped produced at ACME pictures which highlights a fundraisor that Mary Jo and I hosted.
Someone from the ROM put it up and I have it here for you dining and dancing pleasure.

FEd Ex. We Understand.

I love these spots. The perfect tone and cheekiness. I wish I had done them.
Fed Ex is a huge sponsor of the PGA Tour and they have spots all over the coverage.
Check it.

This is the latest one I've seen.

Trevor Immelman on The Late Show.

This has become kind of cool tradition. The day after the Masters Lettermen gets' the winner on to do the Top Ten list.
Pretty neat little scheme I'd say
.
Check out 08 winner Trevor Immelman and then if you're jonesing for some extra golf coverage check this out.
golfdotcom_logo
It's Golf.Com and it's chocka block full of golf stories, blogs and news. For instance today I found out that Tiger is going to be sidelined for 4 weeks because he's having his knee scoped.
How about that? He putts like a tit, plays crappy and is walking on a knee that needs surgery and HE STILL FINISHES SECOND!

If you only have time for one video today...

This has to be it.
I tell you Hhdotcom peeps this is really F**king funny. Seriously.
My pal Thomas Randmaa sent this to me and I have laughed out loud every time.
Apparently there was a show called Secret Talents of the Stars that lasted all of one episode.
Check out the story here and then check the real reason below.
Holy crap this is horrid.
George Takai sings On the Road again. No I'm not kidding.

Some Friday Fun. Hilary says...

...I'm F**ing Obama.

This is a little YouTuber creation along the lines of Sarah Silverman and Jimmy Kimmels little ditties. I'm F**ing Matt Damon and the hysterical I'm F**ing Ben Affleck.
Check it out and share with family and friends.

If you love Uncomfortable TV you'll love this.

If TV was like this all the time you'd never turn it off.
If you're the type that loves when stuff goes off the rails then you'll really dig this.
It's about 2 minutes long but hang in, around the 1:20 mark it really gets squirmy.
I'm betting the two of these old school news guys get into a bit of fisticuffs back at the station, then have a few dozen scotches and then cry in each others arms.
Enjoy.

Some YouTubery...sort of.

I had to do some searching for this but I finally found it on something called TV Crunch.
It's the opening monologue from SNL 2 weeks ago featuring a couple of my favorite performers Tina Fey and a surprise.
Watch it. I think it's pretty cool and shows why I dig this Tina Fey women big time. She's funny, smart and sexy and I would let her kidnap me is she wanted.

Will Ferrell and Chris Bosh. No seriously.

Yes it's another YouTube video but I thought you might enjoy a little hometown humour from Raptors superstar Chris Bosh.
Here he is interviewing Will Ferrell who's basketball movie Semi-Pro(I think.) just opened this weekend.
Enjoy.

Geico commercials are good. Dang good.

I like Geico spots. They are quirky and cool and funny and different. I would like to direct one.
Geico:"Hey Howard, it's Geico. Would you like to direct one of our cool and quirky TV spots?"
Hh.com:"Why yes, I believe I would, thank you."

In the meantime here's one I wish I had done.
It features the Inside the Actors Studio dude, James Lipton and a Regular Guy.
I love the fact that at no time do they explain why they are soaking their bare feet in a wading pool.

Poor Toronto. In case you haven't seen this.

Several Hhdotcom pees sent me this.
Lootsteen, Stinky and others.
It's from the Rick Mercer Report. Pretty funny.

Dimitri Martin. Again.

A while back I found this dude and put up some of his act. Recently my wife's friend Shari (pronounced like "Dairy") sent me the heads up on some more Dimitri funnies.
This is called Flip Chart.

Big fish story.

Check this out.
While the Soccer Dads and I were on our Ski and Booze Tour in Whistler, MG started talking bout Channel Cat fishing.
Never heard of it.
So we YouTubed it and a whole new Red-Neck world opened up.
If you've never seen this you won't believe it.
Yee-freakin-hah! They walk around looking for the Cat fish holes then they feed them their hands.
Seriously.

Very interesting YouTubery. Shift Happens.

You may have seen this. It's worth a second look if you have.
If you haven't put aside the 6 minutes and put yourself in perspective.
Enjoy.

This kid is going to be huge.

This kid's a funny lad from the MTL and one day we'll be paying $8.50 to see his movies.(Senior prices.)
Check out his follow up to Every day Normal Guy, called Every day Normal Guy part 2.
Don't watch it at work due to the fact that he says Motha-F-er every second line.
Enjoy Jon Lajoie.

Enjoy his humorous thoughts. I do.

Jon Lajoie's Top 5 ways to walk to the bus stop:

* #5-in a normal way
* #4-with your arms out as if you were a plane
* #3-at a ridiculously slow pace, or not
* #2-in a sexist way
* #1-in a funny sort of handicapped way (always a crowd pleaser)

Yesterday the book Today the Tom C movie...

I have an early meeting so I thought I throw this up and go.
This is the Tom Cruise Scientology thing all the kids are talking about.
Have a great weekend.
Yikes.

A bit of YouTube for YouPeeps.

My pal Stinks is all over the wacky-emails these days. Some are disposable but the odd one makes me giggle.
Here is an Amstel beer spot I'm sure you won't mind sharing.

Into every life some SNOW must fall.

"...when I was a little girl I always wanted to be a reporter just like Diane Sawyer or
Katie Couric. Then one day I was buried buy a snow plow and from then on I just wanted to
eat too much and vote Republican."

Hey Movie fans dig on this.

Mitch L sent this over to me. It's pretty cool.
What is it?
A short film about film fonts
Film fonts?
Yes. Watch it and you'll see what I mean.

freeRiceLogo
Mitch also sent this link to me.
Improve your vocabulary and help feed the world.
Do your best and help spread the rice.

Wear the Fox Hat?

If you only watch one YouTube thing today. Watch this.
Very funny Miller beer commercial. Apparently it has run but I'm a little skeptical.
The reason there is laughter is the clip is from some TV ad awards thing.
Again, not sure it actually ran on TV but funny just the same.
Enjoy.

Crank that Kosher boy and other funny Hebraic stuff.

I have another day of grown-up work so I will just toss up a couple of things.
If you have kids and you've ever seen the Crank That video-(Soldjah Boy up in this....) you will love this. It's perfect for the end of Chanooks.

Also my buddy Jeff sent me this link to a very funny Onion story.
Jewish Elders Lift 6,000-Year Ham Ban
Ending a strict, six-millennia prohibition of the consumption of cloven-hoofed beasts, the World Rabbinical Council announced Tuesday that Jews worldwide may "dig in to the delicious taste of ham."

Check out the rest of it here.

I will put up the full drivel treatment Thursday if I can. Until then, drive safe, dance like there's no one watching, live long and prosper and wash your hands after you make your business. Both #1 and #2!

Jessica Baker is one sweet Hebe.

For a few years at Mojo and a a couple at The Mix/RB Jessica Baker was a co-worker and pal.
She is sexy, sweet and was always fun to be around.
Recently she sent me this updated version of the Christmas song for Jews that she sang.
I listened, I copied and now it's here to hear.
Happy Chanooks Jessica Baker.

A Scorsese Mockumentary...very cool.

If you like movies and mocking you'll love this. My pal Mitch sent it and it's a fun 9 minute break.
A mock "behind the scenes" look leading up to a 6 minute Scorsese short film.
In the end it turns out to be The Worlds Coolest Commercial directed by the guy that did Taxi Freaking Driver!
Dig it movie-buffs.
Thanks Mitchie and Happy Chanooks.

I've been to Moose Jaw...the song.

My pal and old radio friend Gord Robson sent me this video of a song done by my old pal and comedian friend John Wing.
At the end of the video if you look to the right you can just catch a glimpse of my Dad's old store, Ideal Mens' Wear.(Happy Birthday Lou.)
Also in the closing credits it lists the singer as John Wong.
It's not.
This mostly shot on Main street and some of you big city folk won't believe how small the town is. Seemed pretty big growing up!

Hey nice Cake Mixer!

This is amusing and titillating.
It features a hot chick in a towel looking for her "sexual aid."
Safe for work but you'll probably watch it more than once.
Enjoy.

Not all Americans are Stupid. Just some. Okay a lot but not all!

Oh my God.
This is another in our series of "Americans are Stupid" that show up here from time to time.
I got this from Boons site and I'm telling ya, Kelly Pickler from American Idol is one hot-stupid chick.
"I thought Europe was a country!"
Enjoy.

Everyday Average Normal Guy.

This sh*t is off the hook.(Thats how the kids talk ain't it?)
I was browsing the Boon and came across this YouTube thing and I dug it.
So will you. Just be careful there is a few swears in it, Mother F-er.
Enjoy.

This YOuTubery is really funny.

My new pal Thom R from ACME, not to be confuse with my other pal Thom R from DHL, gave me the heads-up on some vintage Christopher Walken.
This bit is called Cow Bell.
It also features Will Ferrell.
Take 5 minutes away from your grown-up work and have a laugh.

Guy gets' distracted at work. Uh yeah.

My pal Pierre sent me this.
Pierre used to coach Charlie in soccer and he' s a good dude with a great family.
He also appreciates a nice bum. Do you?
Check this.

Some nice OPC from Stinky.

Kind of running round this morning so I thought I'd throw up some nice OPC from the Stink man.
One of my best pals.
Real name Steve, code name Stinky Boy. Neither Stinks nor is a boy.
He sent me this and I'm passing the savings on to you.
Enjoy.

Who wouldn't love Kermit singing the Talking Heads.

I loved the Talking Heads and always felt a green amphibious kin-ship with Kermit thee Frog. After all he was tempted by pork too.
Apparently this is another bit of Internet Viral Video that for some reason has surfaced and people are sending it around.
Now you can watch in the comfort of Hhdotcom.
Enjoy.

My Kids think this is Hi-sterical.

We came back from our anniversary dinner Saturday night (18 years. Yes 18!) and the girls were watching this on the YouTube.
Very bizarre and pretty funny. In a 9 and 13 year-old way.
Enjoy, courtesy of Charlie and Spencer.

Hey here's some fun. If your into Ventriloquists...

This dude's name is Jeff Durham and he's pretty dang funny.
This is his bit Achmed the Dead Terrorist.
My pal Thom R sent this to me. He's the leading supplier of OPC and It's much appreciated.
Enjoy.

Evan Handler. You don't know him but he's really good.

I first noticed this guy when he worked on the The West Wing for a season or so and this Fall I watched him on Californication.
His name is Evan Handler and he's one of those guy's whose done some amazing work for a long time and is about to be a mainstream star.
At least that's my prediction.
I found this weird clip of him lecturing. I guess he does that too.

Miracle Beer Diet. Yes it's a bit dirty.

My pal Ricky P sent me this. It's sort of a funny beer commercial parody featuring a SMC(Smoking HOT Chick) talking about the Miracle Beer Diet.
All you dudes will want to send this around to other dudes.
Some of you curious women too.
We love "curious women" they are a delight.
Warning, some of the content will not be suitable for all ages or offices.
Enjoy.

Yes Larry King is that dumb.

Lots of people were talking about the Larry-Jerry interview where Jerry Seinfeld supposedly "lost it!"
Well he didn't lose it he was just flabbergasted. It can happen to people, I've seen it.
Larry was talking to Jerry about the end of the TV show Seinfeld and was wondering if it got canceled. Canceled? Has Larry been living under a rock?

Jer was none too impressed. He also thought it was pretty funny.

He was doing promo for the Bee Movie which my 9 year-old and I saw and very much enjoyed.
Btw Larry King is interviewing Jerry in the movie too.
Have a look at the Bee Movie trailer.

Amazing Painting dude.

All my wife's Facebook Yenta's seem to be sending this around.
Pretty cool and a good 3 minute time-waster.
There's a longer version but this clip will give you the idea.
Check it out and watch it to the end.

Captian Phil is a good Man.

Captain Phil is the promotional genius behind such bits as Humble and Fred's Tough Contest and all it's variations and was a jovial lad to pal around with many moons ago at The Edge. (Aw memories of employment. Sometimes I forget that I ever had a job.)
Anyway CP sent me a nice not and some content yesterday.
This is the kind of thing of which I think you enjoy much!
Love your internets writing! Keep up some work!

Thanks Phil.
Here is a little ditty called Girl Dancing Dog Humping. Keep your eyes on the dog.

A few good expenses.

My friend Geoff H sent me this after he returned from a Love Cruise with his wife.
He's a good pal and I appreciate him helping Hhdotcom with OPC.(Other People's Content.)
This is for everyone who's ever tried to expense something questionable. And enjoyed the movie A Few Good Men.
Dig it. It's very well done.

Thanks Regular Reader Michelle.

I got a nice note from Michelle who is a public servant.
When she's not serving the public she has a little extra time and she decided to help Hhdotcom out.
Thanks Michelle for this enjoyable diversion from the cold, bleak, darkness that is my world.
Did I say that out loud?
I meant the Happy Fun-land petunia patch that is my life.

Ha Ha dog pee is funny!

As always content supplied by you means less for me to do.
Yah stuff you send in.
Today we'll feature two items from little Tommy Roberts of DHL. Tom is a big VP or something mostly in charge of finding funny crap on the internet and sending it to me.
Thanks Tommy.
To begin a little vignette.

Ha Ha Tommy. Good one.
Now this funny picture. If this doesn't touch your cold, black, heart, nothing will.
beerstore

More fun wastes of Time. Yes more.

I read about this internet show yesterday and I watched a few episodes. Funny.
It's called The Michael Showalter Showaler! Very strange.
Sort of like if Charlie Rose did his show high.
I watched several episodes and I know you'll dig it.
Have a look at this one where Michael interviews Andy Sandberg from SNL but is certain he was supposed to interview Adam Sandler.

Okay, I found it. The Letterman thing.

All right, I know I've been sort of obsessed with this cause I love Letterman and you rarely get to see him interviewed.
It's a 3 minute highlight of his appearance on Oprah. Dig it.
This isn't all of it but it's a start.

I am back in the house now but I have to start cleaning up for Rosh Banana. Have a great night and I'll see you back here Thursday for the full-tilt drivel-fest.

Can't find Letterman on Oprah, found this though.

Still searching for Dave's appearance on the Oprah show and came up empty. I did come across this top ten featuring Bob Barker. He retired you know.
Enjoy.

WTF was this?

Britney doing some bizarre performance at the MTV Awards.
This is what all the kids are talking about.

This morning my pal Venay Menon tries to make sense of the whole weird Britney Out-of Control thing.
After the doomed marriage to über-mooch Kevin Federline, after the wee-hour boozing miles away from her wee ones, after the impulse baldness, after the abysmal "reality show," after the incoherent interviews, after the divorce, the vomiting, the rehab, the fender-bendering, the dust-ups, the breakdowns, the feuds and the apocalypse-is-nigh tabloid folly from recent years, surely the pop princess was poised to sprinkle some pixie dust atop her own crooked halo and ascend the comeback heavens.

Vinay pretty much sums up the whole mess here.

I don't know, can you make fun of someone so obviously out of control?
I suppose but this is a girl who would be working at Blimpys if she couldn't sing a bit. It's almost unfair to pile on her (you know what I mean) and a bit sad as well.

Ha Ha YouTube stuff.

Tom Roberts like to load up on the funny content and send it my way.
Thanks Tom, less for me to do.
He sent me this CSI British style thing and it is very humorous.
Enjoy.

Not to be outdone, Genius Soccer coach, Ed Leyer, (at least that's what he makes me call him!) sent me this.
Also very funny. Also less for me to do.
Thanks Ed and Tom.

This is not the Dumbest American...but Close.

This is YouTube video all the kids are talking about.
Why can't a fifth of Americans locate the US on a world map?
Here's your answer.
